PVI also known as N-(Cyclohexylthio)phthalimide used as ant scorching agent, is an flame retardant for NR and synthetic diene rubbers. PVI is a pre-vulcanization inhibitor which enables processing safety to be controlled in a predictable manner in sulphur curable compounds.

Product Application:
The product may be used in natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It may protect effectively the rubber material from scorching during Processing, So that to make it possible for extruder and calender to be running at a high temperature and high speed and improve the production capacity of vulcanizer. The product also can improve the storage stabilization of the rubber material, protect natural vulcanization during storage. It has reclaimaion function for rubber material, which bearing high heating or with dangers of scorching.

Features:

  • PVI pre-vulcanization inhibitor results in little or no influence on curing characteristics or vulcanize characteristics.
  • PVI is particularly useful for improving efficiency of processing operations such as mixing.
  • PVI is non-staining but can give a slight discoloration
  • It is possible to adjust processing safety by changing dosage of PVI
