Description :

SUPER GREEN RX  is a surfactant base water soluble product that stands out because it has proven to be an exceptional cleaner for wide range of cargoes. These include vegetable and mineral oils, animal fat and oils, and many other cargos according to IMO Annex I cargoes. Due to highly surface active agent it work well in fresh and sea water.It has great staying power and many times, solution with varying percentage of SUPER GREEN RX will clean Multiple Tanks before being expended.

Application :

SUPER GREEN RX is a powerful cleaner for the cleaning of cargo tanks after discharge of drying, semi-drying and non-drying natural oils and fats.SUPER GREEN RX can be used for tank sanitising and deodorising prior to changing to foodstuffs. To achieve the high standard of cleanliness required, a final wash will be necessary by using this product.

Usage Procedure and Dose :

Immediately after use the cargo has been discharged , the tanks should be flushed with cold water to prevent polymerisation and evaporation of the lighter fractions. Whenever possible, the cleaning solution of 2-3% in fresh water should be heated to 60-80°C. However, the polymerising nature of some natural oils demand lower cleaning temperatures.

A general recommendation for cleaning Vegetable oil, animal fat and other cargoes according to ANNEX II, use a solution of 2-5% SUPER GREEN RX for 2-4 hours, but this can vary depending on cargoes and tank size.

Dosing method

The most economical method to use SUPER GREEN RX is by direct injection followed by recirculation washing by using tank cleaning machines.

If this method is not possible, use of other methods such as recirculation or hand spraying.

When changing refrigerated cargoes the need may arise to clean holds to remove animal or vegetable fat to santise and deodorise before the next cargo. A solution of 5-10% in fresh water can be used for this purpose, and may be sprayed on and rinsed off by using hot water and high pressure.
