. 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 drops of Standard sodium fluoride solution was taken in 7 test tubes using a calibrated pipette.

. Add 20,19,18,17,16,15 and 14 drops of distilled water in to the above tubes so that the volume in each tube is 20 mL. with the pipette.

. Rinse the pipette and 20 drops of sample water was taken in a different test tube with the same pipette.

. Add 1 drop of Sodium Arsenite to all the pipette.
. Add 1 drop of Acid Zirconium Alizarin reagent to each of the tubes.

. Stir the solutions thoroughly.

. Comparing the colour of water sample with the colour of the solutions

in other tubes.

. Deduce the amount of fluoride in the sample from the standard chart for fluoride.

Result: The amount of fluoride in the sample is _______mg/L.
