Ferrous Sulfate is an essential body mineral. Ferrous sulfate is used to treat iron deficiency anemia (a lack of red blood cells caused by having too little iron in the body).

Product Application:
Ferrous Sulfate is an easy-to-dissolve coagulant for wastewater treatment applications based on bivalent iron (Fe2+).
Ferrous Sulfates are able to form complex compounds with phosphorus, with these products showing excellent performance in simultaneous wastewater treatment processes. The product also functions well in odor control applications by preventing the formation of hydrogen sulfide.
Ferrous Sulfate Monohydrate. The coagulant of choice for many industrial and sanitary wastewater treatment applications, due to its high efficiency, effectiveness in clarification, and utility as a sludge dewatering agent. The chemical leaves slight residual color, and offers very good turbidity removal.
